Another enjoyable read from a publisher never ceasing to find new titles to add to an already vast library. Whilst I am familiar with the main line element of this publication, the compiler has added interesting captions to revitalise fading memories and tug on the nostalgia strings. However, the branch line element was educational and despite residing in a site office beneath the then extant line to Croxley Green and even walking the old trackbed to Rickmansworth Church Street, I must confess my background knowledge of these branches was rather lacking. An interesting collection of images but would prefer the font for the captions to be a little more positive.
