A worthy successor to the Great Western Journal but with its own distinctive character. Geographic and chronological scope are healthily broad. As may be expected, the photographic quality is high and the texts are clear and engaging. The editors have also demonstrated a willingness to respond to readers’ requests whilst successfully maintaining a good balance to ensure general interest.

My latest copy of Western Times arrived yesterday. It was in perfect condition and the contents were well up to the usual standard . When GWJ finished I thought what a shame .So I am so glad that Western Times has started and long may it continue .
