The latest Southern Times is well up to your usual standard and thoroughly enjoyable. I very much liked The Oxted Line part 2 and the previous issue with Part 1 some images that I had not seen before. As my parents lived close to the line , I was very familiar with all the steam locos until they phased out in 1963. I also enjoyed the article on the N15X Locos , unfortunately I missed those by a year. The Civil Defence article I also found interesting . Just 1 adverse comment , Roedean School in 1958 was very much a girls school only . The pictures show boys wearing boaters , I imagine from Brighton College which was very much a boys school latterly in 1980s ish girls attended in the sixth form. keep up the good work.
