The LMR is represented with a variety of motive power from mighty Duchess and Princess class engines down to the humblest of shunters many taken so the background and landscape can be appreciated in addition to the principal subject matter. This will be the only book in the series devoted solely to the LMR and is compiled by Pete Sikes editor of Midland Times.

I’ve just finished this book. Photos of things I’d long forgotten. A nostalgic glance back into the past I enjoyed it greatly.
