‘An excellent follow-up to the first album which concentrated on freight workings in the North East. Albeit a generation on from my own peerage it is interesting to discover many similarities between enthusiasts of the 80s and those of the 60s who were more interested in the demise of steam. The thrill of the chase before the confounded internet identified everything before its arrival and the combined dislike of multiple units displacing locomotive-hauled trains. Clear captions with a good spattering of trivia make this album easy reading but sorry Colin, jam and cheese sandwiches!!’ Five stars for sure.’
